CMS Restoration works with several property management groups, we usually get calls from them when they get see that one of their properties have water damage. This particular house had water damaged caused by one of the toilets being clogged up in the drain line. The toilet sat up on the third level and had cause water damaged in the bedroom next to the bathroom. It also caused damage into the dining room below, causing multiple paint bubbles in the ceiling and on the wall.

With paint bubbles and the ceiling bowing, we had to demo the ceiling to help with two things. First, to help the drying process of the subfloor upstairs and the rest of the affected ceiling that may be wet. Second, to prevent the bowing drywall from falling on the crew or the members in the home. Once the drywall was removed, we set up the drying equipment in the dining room. Upstairs we ripped put the wet pad in the bedroom and the wet vinyl in the bathroom.

We set up drying equipment in both room upstairs to start the drying process. We come out to the house every day to check up on it and to watch the drying progress. Once we determine that all the wet spots are dried up, we pack up our drying equipment. We let the property management know that we are done with the dry out and begin the rebuild process. CMS Restoration also works with the property management on the rebuild side. We get the home back together again, to normalcy working with our sub-contactors.
